Announcing two additional one-night-only performances this September!
My fine friends,
I'm thrilled to announce that we're adding two very special one-night-only performances this September, featuring music from two of today's most blisteringly talented composers: Caroline Shaw and Paola Prestini!
The first is Sept 7, with Caroline and supreme cellist Andrew Yee performing together in the Green-Wood Cemetery Catacombs. The second is Sept 9, with Paola and her husband - also supreme cellist Jeffrey Zeigler - performing their stunning Houses of Zodiac program at National Sawdust (a renovated sawdust factory in Williamsburg).
Tickets for both shows are specially-priced and will sell-out VERY quickly, so get 'em while the getting's good!
See you soon!

The Long Story
What do you get when you combine Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw and Grammy Award-winning cellist Andrew Yee? We don't entirely know, but we're 100% certain it's going to be a supernova of awesomeness, and that you do not want to miss it...
These two majestically gifted souls will bring their talents to a program of new compositions (written by them) and re-workings of other pieces (also written mostly by them) - including the world premiere of a piece inspired by Green-Wood's extraordinary tree collection.
There will be two specially-priced evening shows (twilight and moonlight) that include a complimentary whiskey tasting, and one afternoon music-only performance with both free and $15 tickets. Get them before they're gone!
The Short Story
This one-night-only event will answer the long-pondered question of just how much towering talent we can cram into a single Catacomb... join us to find out!

The Long Story
Come join us for a one-night-only event at a Williamsburg Sawdust factory, now transformed into a cutting-edge spaceship of musical awesomeness, for an emotionally charged program called Houses of Zodiac. Conceived by musical power couple Paola Prestini (one of today's leading composers) and Jeffrey Zeigler (one of today's leading cellists), this project combines spoken word, movement, music, and image to explore the intersection of mind, body, and nature.
The evening will also include film projections and choreography by filmmaker Murat Eyuboglu, Butoh dance master Dai Matsuoka and "Rogue Ballerina" and NY Ballet soloist Georgina Pazcoguin, as well as poetic interludes by Anaïs Nin, Brenda Shaughnessy, and Natasha Trethewey.
Tickets include a pre-show spirits tasting with snacks, plus discounted tacos at adjoining restaurant Disco Tacos.
The Short Story
Come join us at this remarkable space, for a spiritual journey through love, loss, trauma and healing with some of NYC's most potent creative forces.
