Announcing Spring 2023 Crypt Sessions!

My fellow Crypt-Keepers,

As the dust begins to settle on the new year, I’m proud to announce that Death of Classical is going back underground after a brief terrestrial respite, returning with a handful of Crypt Sessions on sale today, and much more to be announced in the days to follow! March 7 & 8, we welcome the incomparable pianistic mind of Dan Tepfer to the Crypt, as he takes Bach’s beloved Two Part Inventions and weaves them in with his own free improvisations.

Then on April 18, we welcome the staggeringly talented brass quartet The Westerlies to come bathe the vaulted arches of the Crypt in their golden swaths of sound, performing music by Caroline Shaw, Nico Muhly, and more, from their new album Move.
